Customer Review: What have they done!?
This game was a big disappointment especially after Def Jam: Fight for NY. Def Jam: Fight for NY was a amazing game but this was such a let down, don’t get me wrong the graphics are spectacular but the gameplay is AWFUL! i can’t stand with what they have done to the game. You now fight to music this invovles no tatics to what to do basically just press the same old buttons till the music K.O your opponent. The gameplay is fairly enjoyable at first but after a while it is repetitive and boring. The storyline is rubbish unlike Fight for NY and basically the whole game has been ruined!

Avoid this game!

Unlike Def Jam: Fight for NY there are no weapons, also the game is trying to be too realistic were as in Fight for New York It was a very fun game which I could play on end. Overall ICON has amazing graphics and was merged Hip-Hop and fighting well. But its ‘fighting’ and not wrestling.

Need for Speed Carbon (PS3) Customer Review: Not one of the best, but…
Not one of the best Need for Speed games, I’ve played.
But it dose have some nice fetures like the police hot pusute, terottory controls and team racing.

First thing you will notice is that the grapics and sound are like out of a ps2 game, and this could be improved, if the develepers taken more care.
The secound thing you will notice is the button configuration is not like other racing games or even some of the other need for speed games.
So this was quite frustrating, as I am use to hitting X rather than R2.
But this could easly be changed in config.
3rd thing I noticed was the control was a bit stiff compare to need for speed underground 2.

Part from these 3 bad points in the game.
The game as lots to offer for the need for speed fans.
I, my self have become exicted when getting chanced by the police in a hot pussuite.
The game has hot pusute in free roming and in the middle of the race when the aera your in becomes hot.
Boss race of after taking control of most of the rival gang aera.
Break cam, so you can drive in slow motion for a short time while trying to avoide sticky sitasion.

And with online play there is no need to sign in or up to play online unlike underground 2.
But I’, guessing thats because you login from the ps3‘>ps3 when you boot up your machine (Signing up to ps3‘>ps3 network)
Customer Review: No need for speed?!
I bought this as a game to play whilst waiting for GT5. I wish I hadn’t.

The graphics are straight from the PS2.

Handling is VERY unrealistic.

Almost every race feels the same.

All the cars drive roughly the same with almost no difference in handling.

All in all, I am very upset at having spent so much money. PS3 games aren’t the cheapest in the world. I think perhaps this is a game that is definately aimed at the younger (MUCH younger, and I’m only in my 20’s!!) audience.

Excuse the pun… steer clear of ths one!!

This is a great item, with a massive 3 metres of cable to play with. It has gold connectors (with their own protective covers) which really seem to make a difference. At this price you cant go wrong.

Customer Review: Great accessory
After watching people posting up their videos of Singstar i was hooked so i had to go out and get it. This item is an absolute gem and i hope Sony include it in the future as part of their ps3‘>ps3 packages. I got it on day of release from amazon for a pretty reasonable ?25 or so. The camera captures in 640×480 and is useful in a number of games and other options and also includes a high quality microphone. When you first connect the camera the only fuction which will operate so you will need to use the xmb to activate the microphone function if you wish to use it. I personally have it turned off because if its active and attached it shows up as you having a microphone in games like COD4. There are a number of games availble to purchase from the playstation store. I have the one where you need to rescue the blurps by moving yours hands. The camera on the whole is pretty accurate at picking up movement but can make the odd mistake which can be a little annoying. In games such as singstar it randomly takes shots of you singing and also a 30sec or so clip so you can upload it if you wish which adds to the expierence. At this time of the year its nice to capture films of family making a fool of themselves I havent tried the video call feature yet but that is another use of the camera (6 way video chat). This is well worth getting.

I got the Playstation Eye for Christmas and as soon as I got going with it, I was not disappointed. It is very easy to setup the quality is unquestionably good for such a cheap camera. The special effects are classy and there’s plenty of them to use. However, what I loved most about it is you can view what’s on camera using your PSP anywhere around the world providing you’re hooked up to a WiFi internet connection - so it is possible to have video conversations with a PSP owner or you could even use it as a security camera for when you go on holiday!

Haze (PS3)

One of the reasons Rare are such a controversial developer nowadays (apart from the whole Nintendo selling them to Microsoft thing) is the fact that a lot of people associated with GoldenEye and Perfect Dark left the company a long time ago. Many of them ended up at Free Radical Design, where they created the love-it-or-loathe-it TimeSpliters series and the underappreciated Second Sight. Haze ditches the stylised look of their older games though, with a game set in a future world dominated by mega global corporation Mantel - where you’re cast as one of their soldiers fighting rebels in South America.

Like all fictional global corporations Mantel is up to no good and it turns out their drug NECTAR is doing more than just making you a super soldier with increased speed, strength and accuracy. Highlighting enemies under cover from you, as well as grenades and bobby traps is all very good but the downside is it also turns you (and your teammates) psychotic if you use it too much. Worse it seems to sanitise the world around you, making corpses invisible and even obscuring the true nature of the landscape around you…

Rebel soldiers are able to take advantage of the reality bending powers of NECTAR, such as playing dead to regain their health or using a special “weapons steal” move to make up for their lack of hardware (both of which moves work great in multiplayer). With arguably the most interesting storyline in any current first person shooter and a custom made graphics engine Haze’s future looks crystal clear.

the game is being delayed because they have found a bug witch if u have assasins creed you would have come across. for an unknown reason the game freezes randomly but it happens very rarely to the point that its very unlucky if it happens to you. but they want to get to the bottom of the bug before they relaese the game because they want it to be perfect i hope this has answerd everyones question.
